Destiny 2 Beta Lands On PC August 28, Minimum System Requirements Revealed

Destiny 2 is set for release this September for the PS4 and Xbox One, and this October for PC.

Early access to "beta" on the computers will start August 28 - there will be those who pre-order Destiny 2. The weapon's blue light beam appears to live up to its namesake and prompted fans to speculate a new element type. "In the weeks to come, expect us to sound off again with more details on how you can get the most out of your first steps in the PC build".

That practically gives you just a month to make sure your PC has what it takes to join in on the fun. It seems like they have simplified character ability progression quite a bit, it would have been nice to get a chance to look at some of those other abilities a bit more. It's important to note that this weekend's event is the last one that'll happen within the Record Book transfer window deadline, which also closes on August 1. "We've also made tons and tons (and tons) of changes of varying sizes that is a function of closing down a video game (we're almost done!)". The art styling, from what is shown, is still top notch.
